When you order your wedding invitations they may come to you looking something like this . . .
As pretty as these invitations are here’s a way you can jazz things up a bit. Add a simple gold border in a matter of minutes.
All you need is a ruler and a gold paint pen – it’s really that simple.
This project is so easy it doesn’t even need an explanation but just incase follow the steps below.

Do you ever wonder what they sell at the 99 cent store? Well I happened to be there over the weekend and you’ll be amazed at what you can find. It’s seriously my new favorite place. Lately I’ve been absolutely obsessed with sea blues and gold so I thought I’d put together a little project using these colors. Check out this super easy DIY program idea.
What you’ll need:
1. colored paper cut to 10 x 7 (folded in half to make a 5 x 7 booklet)
2. print your program to fit onto 2 sheets of paper that are 4.5 x 6.5 each
3. some washi tape (or any sort of adhesive will do)
4. another piece of scrap paper for your cover tags (any size will do)

Today’s project is for those DIYers who like to get their hands dirty! This escort card holder is so cute for a shower or rustic reception. I love all of the possibilities, like using different shaped jars for each table or chalkboard paint to really make this fit with your event.
